It’s fun to look back on more years than I care to count. I am not at Warm Hearth Village in Blacksburg VA these days, have moved south to Florida. It was not difficult to find another position at a retirement community doing the same thing as in VA. So, when I called the local Elvis entertainer in this area to invite him to perform for the seniors, I knew he would not be up my expectations. Oddly, he was familiar with Michael and Bobbi, had just returned from a workshop in Orlando, and had nothing but high praise for the teacher.
His name is Ken Grube. Not great, not bad, just average.
I’ve bought a little house on the Gulf Coast about 40 miles from Orlando. The master bedroom is empty, free to you when you want a little sun and time away. I promise, I won’t ask you to perform. Not a day goes by that I don’t wish you as much joy as you have brought to thousands of folks.
